Here are some of his most notable adventures:

  1. “Lagos on Two Wheels”: This is his flagship documentary project, exploring the megacity street by street to create an honest portrait of its culture and daily life. It moves beyond headlines to tell the real stories of its people, from its vibrant energy to its urban challenges.
  2. Tourism and Infrastructure Rides: Wonder partners with state governments and brands to promote tourism and document development across Nigeria. He has showcased attractions in Ekiti State and documented the condition of new federal roads, celebrating national progress and sparking conversation.
  3. International Ambassador: Acting as a global representative for Nigerian cycling, he famously participated in the Tour de France. Wearing his “NIGERIA” jersey through the Alps, he brought a global spotlight to his nation and inspired pride back home.
  4. Port Harcourt to Ogoja Expedition: Wonder took on a 650km motorcycle journey from Port Harcourt in Rivers State to Ogoja in Cross River State. This multi-day trip was designed to document the road conditions and diverse landscapes across Nigeria’s South-South region, showing his versatility as an explorer beyond just cycling.
  5. 4-Islands Epic MTB Race: He competed in this grueling four-day mountain bike stage race across the islands of Croatia. The adventure showcased his technical skill and endurance as a competitive athlete on a challenging international stage, drawing attention from global brands.

Through these journeys and more, Edward Wonder has established himself as far more than just a cyclist. He is a cultural ambassador and a powerful voice for a new generation of African storytellers, proving that a bike can be a vehicle for changing perceptions and inspiring a continent.
